Bolton Job Centre is to host a series of event for people looking for work or to change careers.
Sector Work Academy Programmes will take place throughout this month and next.
The scheme is designed to showcase vacanices.
A Department for Work and Pensions spokesperson said: “This is where an employer or group of employers, have a number of vacancies.
“Customers are offered job specific training, some work experience and a guaranteed interview.
“This is great for people who are changing careers.”
There are currently three Sector Work Academy Programme events planned for August which will focus on match day safety stewards, opportunities to work for five large retail outlets around Bolton and on sales advisers positions.
Further events planned for September will focus on opportunities for bus drivers, care workers and security officers.
There will be a range of other events over the course of the year including jobs fairs and other outreach events.
More information about the Sector Work Academy Programmes is available at Bolton Job Centre on Great Moor Street.
