MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to do 200 hours of unpaid work after he admitted stalking a woman for 10 months.
At Wigan Magistrates’ Court Arjan Singh, aged 37, of Cherry Tree Avenue, Farnworth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence after initially denying it.
The court heard how he repeatedly sent texts, emails and made calls to his victim from May 2020 until April this year, drove down her street and parked outside her house.
As well as the unpaid work, Singh must participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities and a restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim or going near her home.
