Bolton’s rising boxer Abdul Khan is getting back in the ring this month hoping to secure another win.
The 19-year-old cousin of Amir is a week out from his fight in his hometown at Bolton Whites, on August 20.
He hasn’t fought in Bolton since his debut as a pro boxer kicked off in Dubai where he fought under Amir’s Crypto Fight Night.
Since then, he’s taken wins in Salford and Manchester too.
On having his first fight in Bolton, he said: “It feels amazing that my next fight is in my hometown of Bolton.
“I have always wanted to fight in Bolton and put on a show for my people, so it feels good that it’s at home.
“So, all my friends and family and supporters can come down to this, The Bolton fans are the best fans.”
Abdul is always thankful for the support he gets as a pro boxer, especially from his cousin Amir.
He said: “I’d like to thank Amir and Faryal for keeping me busy and getting me the fights.
“I have been training hard for this fight and I can’t wait to show my skills and what I have learnt.”
