School pupils will be doing their bit next week to raise money for two charities.
The pupils and staff at Westhoughton High School will be taking part in a charity fun run to help raise money for Children with Cancer UK and for Derian House.
A school spokesman said: “The whole school are involved in a charity fun run next Tuesday raising money for two charities close to the heart of team Westhoughton High School.
“So far we have raised £580 for Children with Cancer UK and £1136 for Derian House!
“Thank you to all who have donated so far, lets all give it a big push over the weekend to raise even more.”
Derian House works to provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 450 children and young people across the North West with a hospice in Chorley and charity shops in Bolton.
Children with Cancer UK aims to support youngsters all over the country who are living with the disease.
Anyone interested in donating can find the links on Westhoughton High’s Facebook page.
