Pupils proved real sports when it came to designing a new hockey stick for an online company.
More than 30 pupils at Bolton School boy's division took part in the competition staged by KaBo Hockey Limited, which sells hockey equipment and clothing.
Rob Alty of KaBo met the winners at the school’s final hockey practice for the year.
They were sixth form student Simon Whitmore for his ‘Bukavac’ design and Year 11 pupil Jayden Luhar for his ‘Nemesis’ stick.
The competition came about through therelationship between Bolton School and KaBo, which sees pupils enjoy subsidised costs on hockey equipment.
On the evening, the young hockey players were thrilled to try out a range of new KaBo sticks.
