The ever-popular soap rolled into town yesterday for filming, with Georgia Taylor having been spotted heading towards the film set with co-star Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly Neelan in the show.
According to ITV, the location is said to be being used as a courtroom for scenes that will air this September, as part of the ongoing Toyah storyline following Imran’s death.
The famous Bolton street is awash with film crews and production vehicles, creating a buzz about the place.
This isn’t the first time the town centre has seen film crews either, with Le Mans Crescent having recently served as a setting for ITV drama Nolly, starring Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter.
The town has also previously been a setting for Peaky Blinders and for Netflix horror Red Rose, as well as appearing in non-fiction programmes such as ITV’s This Morning.
