Bolton Community Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public as it stages its annual open day.
Billed as 'fun for the whole family', the fire station, on Moor Lane, is inviting people to meet their local firefighters and find out more about the work they do.
Firefighters will demonstrate their skills staging mock scenarios, including a road traffic collision.
Visitors will have a chance to have a look around a fire engine and other appliances.
There will also be first aid training and information on how to keep safe.
There will also be family fun activities, stalls and even a driving simulator.
The open day will take place on Saturday, August 6 and run from 11am to 4pm.
