A business owner who relies on his car has been left devastated after his car was rolled into the street causing hundreds of pounds of damage.
This is the second time Kevin Riley’s car has been targeted by criminals.
In December his car was stolen and involved in a crash in which it was written off.
Now he has been left with a bill of a £1,000 for his replacement car, a Ford Fiesta.
Mr Riley says he was woken in the early hours of Tuesday at his home in Long Lane, Breightmet, to be told his car had been rolled onto the street.
The 36-year-old reviewed footage and saw a person on the driver’s side of the vehicle so that entrance could be forced.
And the car was later found in the middle of the road.
Mr Riley, who has been running Your Pets Pals which is a dog walking business for a year and a half, has been told it will cost £1,000 to repair the damage.
He said: “I have got my own business so it is annoying, I am trying to give back to the community I am advertising for a job at my dog walking business.
“It is going to set me back a bit.”
He added: “They rolled it off the drive, I don’t know why they left it there.
“I think they just hammered the driver’s door.”
Mr Riley said: “It is a worry but I am trying not to think about it because if you think about stuff like that you attract it to yourself.
“I am looking at some extra security how to make it less appealing to thieves to come and try car.
“We put a steering lock in the car just to deter them.”
Police have been contacted about the incident.
