Abdul Khan, the cousin of Amir Khan is excited to be fighting tomorrow in Rotherham as he looks to extend his win record.
The 19-year -old Khan is set to take over from Amir after the latter’s retirement.
Now, the young Khan is looking to beat his rival in Rotherham at the Magna Centre.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to showing off what I have learnt because It’s my time to make a statement and show everyone what I am about.”
“I boxed at the same place at my last fight, I’m looking forward to going back and winning in style.
“I want to thank my team for keeping me busy because I am always in the gym throughout 52 weeks of the year.”
The boxer thanks Amir for inspiring and helping his career.
He said: “Amir has helped me a lot in my career, and I can never thank him enough for it.
“It’s good to see him make a choice that he believed was best for him and go with his heart. He inspired me a lot in my career, and I hope to achieve what he did in the sport.
“I would like to thank everyone that supports me, it means a lot to me, and no support goes unnoticed. I’ll like to thank my sponsors and my team for getting me out again.”
