An inquest has opened after a woman tragically died in hospital earlier this year after collapsing at home with a suspected cardiac arrest.
Lisa Marie Hunter, from Tottington, was just 39 years old when she collapsed at her home on Chestnut Avenue in February this year.
Bolton Coroner's Court heard last Friday how Ms Hunter died at Salford Royal Hospital on February 11 having been taken there several days earlier.
Police coroners officer Stefan Wilson said: “Police enquiries were made and there were no suspicious circumstances, no signs of third-party involvement and I understand the body has already been released.”
Coroner Timothy Brennand heard how a post-mortem had been carried out on Ms Hunter on February 28 which determined that her death had been brought on by myocardial infarction brought on in part by cocaine use.
Mr Brennand ruled that a full inquest will be heard next week to establish the full facts surrounding Ms Hunter’s tragic death.
The inquest will be up for review on Wednesday, June 29 to determine what evidence will need to be heard and from which witnesses ahead of a full hearing to be held by Assistant Coroner for Manchester West, Rachel R Syed, the following Friday.
