A Bolton celebrity enjoyed a taste of home as he returned to the north west.
Paddy McGuiness had been away working on Celebrity Catch Point.
The man who came to fame alongside fellow Bolton man Peter Kay and has presented Top Gear now lives in Cheshire.
And he alerted his followers on social media to how he had marked his return home what he described as a "little holiday."
Mr McGuiness, who used to work at Horwich Leisure Centre, said in a post: "First stop is always the Chippy."
He showed in a picture he had bought pudding, ,chips, peas, curry sauce with a tub of gravy to go with it.
He added: "I didn't have any bread, I'm watching my weight."
Back from a little holiday. First stop is always the Chippy! Pudding, chips, peas, curry sauce and a tub of gravy on the side. All washed down with a can of D&B. I didn’t have any bread, I’m watching my weight. #homecomforts pic.twitter.com/Jr0O3oR6bB
