Leigh RMI 0 Telford United 3
LEIGH slipped deeper into the relegation mire with their second defeat in four days in Blue Square North.
Two early defensive errors cost them goals and, although the Railwaymen battled hard, they rarely threatened. Robbie Talbot could have reduced the deficit when it appeared the goalkeeper had impeded him when clean through, but the referee waved away the protests.
A third goal in the second half from the promotion-chasers, who smashed six past RMI last month, put paid to any hope of a comeback.
