Bolton CHA Rambling Club have announced their next set of walks for the coming weeks.
The club has been rambling since 1905 and would-be walkers are welcome to go along and try it out.
Firstly, there will be three walks this Saturday (June 18).
The first walk will be of Ousel Nest.
People are asked to meet the group at Aldi on Higher Bridge Street, BL1 4HJ, at 9.30am or where the walk starts at Ousel Nest CP, BL7 9AJ, at 10am.
The walk will consist of moorlands and tracks and will be 12 miles long.
The second walk will meet at Turton Tower, BL7 0HG, at 10.30am. The walk is entitled Hole in One and will be 8.5 miles long.
The final walk this Saturday will be of Matchmoor and will meet at the bottom of George’s Lane, Horwich, BL6 6RT.
This walk will also meet at 10.30am and will be six miles long.
There will be another two walks on Wednesday, June 22.
The first one will be of Yarnsdale. The meeting point will be at Turton Tower CP, BL7 0HG, at 10.30am and the walk will be 10 miles long.
The second walk will be of Grants Tower. Walkers can meet the group at Lumb Carr Road, BL0 9RY, near the Hare and Hounds in Holcombe Brook at 10.30am, for the eight mile trek.
No dogs are allowed on the walks. Those interested in any of the walks, are welcome to turn up a the meeting point and asked to make themselves known to the walk leader.
