Bins in Bolton are to be collected as normal over the Jubilee Weekend, amongst fears road closures for street parties would severely affect normal function.
Bolton Council have confirmed that bins are to be collected as normal, with a slight change.
A spokesperson from Bolton Council said: “Had it confirmed that bin collections are going ahead as normal.
“Anyone who has a street closure planned for a jubilee party on the same day as their bin collection has been advised to leave their bins at the end of the road.”

125 roads are set to be closed in Bolton for street parties over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
There are jubilee parties taking place all over the borough and on all four days of the long weekend.
During the closures, vehicles not engaged in the events will be prohibited from proceeding on the parts of streets specified within the order.
