A 23-year-old investment banker has been awarded world leading status in his field.
Daanish Hussain from Farnworth at only 23 has been awarded a senior leadership award and status while working at a leading multinational investment banking firm and studying for an MBA at the International Business and Edinburgh Business school.
With almost five years of experience in the investment banking sector, the new Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) status means that Daanish will open himself up to senior positions within global investment banks, as well as the big accounting firms.
He said: “It is an honour to officially become a chartered CFA analyst after eight months of gruelling learning, exams and forecasts.
“I now understand why CFA holders make up the top 1000 of international finance professionals and why CFA is one of the worlds most respected charters due to the rigor, quality of education but more importantly the intellect required in order to successfully pass. “
The CFA program is one of the most respected and recognised investment management designation in the world.
Growing up in Bolton provided a great foundation for Daanish as he built on resilience, overcoming adversity but more importantly having to experience environmental change in order to work for bulge bracket names.
He said: “In many ways I believe growing up in Bolton instilled a great deal of patience, discipline and drive due to the ambition of wanting to achieve more but being situated in an area where I could not have exposure to international businesses.
“I believe this is what led to me having an edge over some of my colleagues from Oxford, Chelsea, Westminster and Knightsbridge.”
Daanish gained the leading CFA status through the business school by attending and completing lectures, exams and through underwriting new debt and equity securities.
He took inspiration from his time meeting and build relationships with key stakeholders for large international corporations such as JP Morgan and Chase, and the Bank of England.
