A suspected drug dealer has been arrested for allegedly planning to flood the streets with crack cocaine and heroin.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply after police discovered crack cocaine, heroin and a large amount of cash at a home in Scholes, Wigan, officers reported on Friday.
Officers took the opportunity to remind the public about the consequences of dealing as well as taking hard drugs.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Neighbourhood officers have been carrying out drug supply disruption activity tonight on Lower Longshoot, and later Wells Place.
“An adult male was detained for the purpose of a search and taken to Wigan police station where a more thorough search resulted in the recovery of a quantity of what is believed to be crack cocaine and heroin, along with a quantity of cash and other evidence.
“He is now under arrest on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply class A drugs.

“The consequences of dealing drugs are high, not only do offenders face the prospect of prison if found guilty, but there are wider consequences including eviction from accommodation and difficulties obtaining housing in the future.”
