A HEARTWARMING tribute was made on BBC Breakfast yesterday by Bury Encore Youth Choir.
The children took the 5.45 am coach to Salford Quays to begin filming for the show and then later again for North West Tonight.

They sang to remember the lives lost in the Manchester Arena Attack almost five years ago, releasing 22 balloons in their memory.
Katie Geelan, musical director of the choir said: “It was such an experience for all of us, we just wanted it all to go right and not let Steve down.”
Steven Goodman, the founder of Liv’s Trust, is the grandad of Olivia Campbell-Hardy, who died in the attack at 15-years-old.
He now funds and supports the Encore Youth Choir, in memory of Oliva who was a music lover and a choir member.
Katie continued: “It was an incredible experience. During the pandemic we had to shut down for 18 months so for this to be one of our big comeback events, we just couldn’t have asked for anything better for our young people.”
The choir performed the classic Manchester medley in remembrance, a similar show of solidarity to the Bury Fire Choir, which performed in Bury on Wednesday.
If anyone is looking to join the choir, between the ages of 9 and 18, you can click here for more information.
