THE Made in Manchester festival is coming back to Bolton once again.
More than 1,000 people attended last year’s successful event - the first time it was able to go ahead since the pandemic put a stop to many gigs and performances.
Bolton Arena will host the event once again this year, which is scheduled for Saturday September 3.
Music lovers will be treated to an array of tribute acts mimicking some of Manchester most legendary and revered bands, including The Oasis Experience, The Absolute Stone Roses, Courtbetweeners and True Order.
Also on the line-up is Bolton’s own The Jade Assembly, Our Fold’s Damien Riley’s new venture Part Time Signals and The Facades.
The festival will have more than just musical delights, including a range of bars and food vendors, fairground rides, festival glitter stalls and the 'BeeGinning' gin bar for punters to browse and enjoy.
Event organiser Robert Brierley said: “We are really looking forward to bringing Made in Manchester festival back to Bolton Arena.
“It was fantastic to finally get the event on last year after the pandemic. The feedback we received was fantastic and we are excited to make this year’s event bigger and better.
“Made in Manchester is a fun day out for all the family. There’s something for everyone.”
Head of Commercial at Bolton Arena said: “We’re delighted to have the Made in Manchester music festival back at Bolton Arena for 2022.
“It was the first music outdoor event we have ever hosted back in 2019. It was a huge success then and last years was equally popular.
“It’s great to offer a music event at the Arena for our local community. If you’ve not been before I encourage you to come along as it’s going to be a great event and you won’t be disappointed.
Made in Manchester is just one of a number of events that Bolton Arena are due to host this year.
“The Wedding show, Tool fair, Stars and Cars, Cheerleader competitions and boxing events are just some of the events that have returned to the Arena following the pandemic period,” John said.
“It’s good to see these events making such a strong return and the public supporting them by attending.”
