Whether starting out in the world of work or looking for a new career direction, people can find opportunities at the Bolton Job Fair on Thursday, May 26.
Bolton Council’s Digital, Employment and Skills (DES) team, in partnership with Business Bolton and the Department for Work and Pensions, is hosting the fair at The Albert Halls from 10am to 1pm.
Employers are reporting a vast amount of vacancies and are looking for people to start immediately, so there has never been a better time to find a new job.
Spread across three zones, The Bolton Job Fair 2022 will offer advice, support and many exciting opportunities.
An Employer Zone will give job seekers the chance to talk to dozens of employers including, Greene King, Bolton Cares and Greater Manchester Police.
An Apprenticeship, Enterprise and Careers Advice Zone is a space to chat with apprenticeship providers in Bolton and to get help to start up your own business.
An Employment Support Zone will give advice on learning basic digital skills and find out about benefits entitlement.
Bolton at Home’s Working Wardrobe will be on hand to explain how they can help jobseekers look the part and support them with interview preparation.
The council has worked with Bolton Deaf Society to make the event accessible to people with hearing loss and a BSL/English interpreter will be available for those who are BSL users.

“We are delighted to have so many local employers on board, hoping to recruit and train jobseekers of all ages.
