A Bolton farm will be hosting a farmers’ market and community fun day later this summer that will let the whole community sample farming life.
The event will be hosted on Earls Court Farm on Stitch-Mi-Lane, Harwood on August 20 and is being held to raise money for Bolton Hospice as well as Backup North West, a Bridgeman Street based organisation that works to tackle homelessness.
Farming couple David and Karen Yates hope that this will prove to be fun for community members of all ages while also helping to fund extremely good causes in the area.
Karen Yates said: “We are having a Farmers Market and Community Fun Day on August 20 2022 to raise vital funds for Bolton Hospice, I am Patron Ambassador, and Backup Charity, I am a Guardian, and we are looking to provide fun for all in the community.”
The farmers' market will be held this summer
The event will include live music, a farmers’ market, stalls, children’s activities, and a celebrity attendance.
The tickets will cost £5 per family with all of the money raised going to the two charities.
