Kings of Leon are making some extra tickets available for their gig in Manchester later this year as part of their ‘When You See Yourself’ UK tour.
The band will be performing at the AO Arena on Tuesday, July 5 as the last venue on the tour which will take place over June and July.
Kings of Leon formed in 1999 through brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and cousin Matthew Followill.
Success came at first for them in the UK with nine top 40 singles and two Brit Awards in 2008.
All three of the band’s albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK albums chart.
Eventually they became bigger names in the US as well, with their song ‘Only by the Night’ charting there in September 2008.
Singles that followed, including ‘Sex is on Fire’, ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Notion’ all peaked at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.
