University of Bolton law student Terri Cokell has been shortlisted in the LawWorks and Attorney General Student Awards 2022.
Terri, who is studying for her Masters in Law and Solicitor Qualifying Exam, has been nominated for Best Contribution By An Individual Student.
Terri said: “I am delighted to be nominated, it is a lovely surprise and I am looking forward to being a part of the awards event.”
The awards ceremony will be held at the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace in the House of Lords today (May 4)
The ceremony will be hosted by Alasdair Douglas, Chair of LawWorks, and the Attorney General will be presenting the awards to the winners.
Ian Bowden, Assistant Teaching Professor and Solicitor Advocate, at the University of Bolton’s Law School, said: “It is great news that Terri has been shortlisted for this prestigious award.
“We all have our fingers crossed that she is successful on the night – she certainly deserves to be!”
The Awards, run by LawWorks with the support of the Attorney General, The Rt Hon Suella Braverman QC MP, recognise and celebrate the outstanding pro bono work undertaken by law schools and law students across the UK.
