A hunt is on to find a wanted man who failed to appear in court over a drugs charge.
Aurel Hila, 38 of Austin Street, Leigh, had been due to appear at Preston Crown Court for allegedly conspiring to supply Class A drugs.
But Hila, who has links to both Leigh and Chorley, has not been seen at the court and police have now appealed for anyone with any information as to his whereabouts to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Aurel Hila?
“He is wanted by police after failing to appear at court.
“Hila, 38, was due to appear at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday, April 27, for the alleged offence of conspiring to supply Class A drugs.
“Hila, of Austin Street, Leigh, Greater Manchester, is described as 5ft 9in tall and of heavy build. He is from Albania.
“He has links to Chorley and Leigh.
“Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to come forward.”
Police officers have urged anyone who may have seen Hila, or a man matching his description, or who has any other information that could lead them to him to call 101 or email 3444@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 0752 of April 27.
