Hollywood Bowl rolled out the red carpet for an evening of glitz and glamour to celebrate the centre's half a million pound refurbishment.
Located in the Middlebrook retail park on The Linkway, guests got to try out the new lanes, taster foods, complimentary drinks and a night of bowling.
And Marilyn Monroe even joined families in the lanes for a special evening of drink sipping and ball throwing.
Mike Tinston, centre manager for Hollywood Bowl Bolton, said: "The refurbishment is really exciting, we've been operating with the old design for about seven years and we have come back from Covid and trying to refind our feet and now this investment is really getting us to the next level.
"We have upgraded just about everything, so we have enlarged our amusements area, we've moved our food operations and the bar area so we can give a better joined up food and drink experience and the VIP lanes have had the biggest transformation, so it's really exciting.
"We were thrilled to host this VIP event to celebrate our glamorous LA-style makeover where guests were able to enjoy a truly memorable Hollywood experience.
“Friends and family who visit will be bowled over by the best there is to offer, from fun and competitive bowling to delicious food and drinks, here at our new-look centre in Bolton.”
The centre features 26 incredible state of the art bowling lanes, including four VIP lanes which are decked out to make guests feel like Hollywood stars.
Across the lanes there is an all new innovative scoring system with digital top scorer boards with selfie opportunities for each player on the big screens.
The food and bar offers amazing American-style classics such as burgers and hot dogs and a range of drinks both soft and alcoholic.
Within the refurbishment, all areas of the centre were upgraded with state of the art areas including a diner, and an amusement area with favourites such as Space Invaders and Mario Kart as well as air hockey.
Mike said although they want to make the place look nice, the atmosphere is important too.
He said: "As much as we spent all of this money on the centre, we are really keen to deliver an experience and we want to create those memorable experiences so that our customers go away and talk about us and keep coming back."
Prices start at £7.75 for adults with a £1.50 upgrade to go VIP and there are a range of party packages for all ages.
Lanes can host up to eight guests.
If you would like to go and play a round of ten pin bowling, head to the Middlebrook branch from 10am until late.
