A women’s charity has officially opened a new hub in Bolton to help women and girls prosper.
Wonderfully Made Woman opened their new Bolton Hub this week.
The charity offers support for women experiencing hate crime, lead campaigns to end domestic violence, run confidence building workshops, work on heritage projects and offer skill training and employment support.
Wonderfully Made Woman also started the first African food bank in Greater Manchester to support BAME women and their families since the COVID-19 outbreak.
A spokesman for the group said: “We’ve been thriving in Manchester for the past decade, but the demand from women in other areas were numerous and growing.
“We finally opened an office in Bolton to improve our services, broaden our reach and enable new initiatives.
“The new location in the heart of Bolton will expand Wonderfully Made Woman’s presence while also providing a dedicated local team for our service users and partners.
“Our office in Bolton will be focussed on assisting women and young girls based in Bolton and Bury by providing services: emotional and practical support, confidence building, charity shop, food bank and general wellbeing.”
The group are looking forward to providing women in Bolton and Bury with the right support.
