Cardwells Estate Agents Bolton have had the best birthday present ever - they recently won the British Property Award for Best Estate Agents in Bolton - for the third successive year.
Founded in 1982, Cardwells, based in Institute Street, in Bolton, town centre celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, with the firm’s managing director, Andrew Cardwell, saying: “This is a superb way to mark the occasion.”
The family-run estate agents also scooped two awards at a prestigious United Kingdom Property awards, held late last year in London - the awards is the largest within the industry and has a judging panel including three peers, Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley.
Customers are consulted during the judging process and mystery shopping experiences are also conducted. This is a long assessment process over many months.
Andrew Cardwells spoken of his pride at this industry recognition.
He said: “There are a lot of estate agency offices in Greater Manchester so to be recognised as the finest of them all, and to win the award is a fantastic achievement."
The Cardwells team also walked away with the Best Agency Marketing in the North West prize, too.
“The marketing prize recognises the superb advertising of the properties that we list for sale or let. I believe our individual property marketing videos, such as the one below focusing on a detached family home in Bromley Cross, were a key factor in this win.”

Cardwells are synonymous with the Bolton property market, but have also long been supporters of the Bolton community, and to mark the 40th anniversary, have stepped up their involvement in a variety of local initiatives, community projects and partnered with charities such as: Bolton Hospice, Bury Hospice, Urban Outreach Bolton, Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary and various schools. Andrew Cardwell recently completed his 40th marathon which was in aid if Bolton and Bury Hospices. Whilst the offices have been collection points for donations to be sent to those effected by the Ukraine War and they have visited local schools to collect donations too. Cardwells are sponsoring the upcoming Creativity Competition which encourages children to design a room, using any artistic medium they would like, the first prize is £200 of Blackpool Pleasure Beach vouchers.
