Bolton School’s Beech House boys and girls infant school has announced its new head.
Mrs Jo Field will take over the role at the beginning of the summer term, having formerly held the positions of deputy head and acting head teacher at Eagley Infant School.
Mrs Field said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Bolton School as its new Primary Division begins to take shape.
“It is an exciting time, and during the course of the next term I look forward to getting to know all the pupils, parents and staff.
“For me, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is where all the magic begins.
"I firmly believe that by starting correctly, we can guide children from an early age, ensuring the right foundations are laid.”
Head of Primary Division, Mrs Sue Faulkner, said: “We are delighted with our new appointment. Mrs Field’s enthusiasm and commitment to Infant School education is inspirational.
“I am looking forward to working with her as we build further upon the success of our Primary Division at Bolton School, where our dedicated Infant, Junior Girls and Junior Boys’ Schools allow us to provide our children with the very best education.”
