MAGISTRATES have jailed a man for eight weeks after he persistently ignored a driving ban.
At Wigan Magistrates’ Court Tibor Horvath, aged 37, of Victoria Grove, Bolton, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW 525 on Trinity Street, Bolton, on February 3 whilst banned and without insurance and also admitted driving a Transit van on the A6 on April 7 without insurance.
As well as the jail sentence, Horvath was banned from applying for a licence for two years and was ordered to pay £128 towards the costs of funding victim services.
