A MAN dumped the contents of his wheelie bin outside Farnworth Town Hall in protest that his bin had not been collected.
Now the flytipper, who lives in Farnworth, has been handed a £400 fine for his bizarre actions.
The Bolton News reported earlier this month how a man walked up to the town hall and dumped his rubbish during the morning rush hour to the shock of passers-by.
Following an investigation by Bolton Council, the man was tracked down and fined hundreds of pounds.
The flytipper, who the council is not naming, was captured on CCTV depositing his rubbish outside the historic building.

The offence was believed to be in protest to a missed bin collection despite a black bin collection being scheduled and carried out in Farnworth that day.
The council say that officers later established that the resident had somehow obtained a second unauthorised bin, and this was the reason why the collection did not take place.
The man who lives in Ellesmere Walk was fined £400 for the fly-tipping offence.
A council spokesperson said: “Fly-tipping of any nature is unacceptable. We will not hesitate to act against those who commit such crimes.
“I urge residents who witness fly-tipping in the borough to report it to the council.”
John Robinson, a Farnworth resident, said he was left in utter disbelief this morning when he saw the man with a big bin dump household rubbish outside the town hall.
