A SCHOOL has led tributes to a student who died in his sleep yesterday.
Cameron Milton died suddenly at the age of just 18 at his home in Edgworth.
Today, flags were flying at half-mast at Bolton School, where the teenager was studying for his A-levels and played for the rugby team.
Head of boys’ division, Nic Ford paid tribute to the popular student.
He said: “The whole of the Bolton School community is shocked and saddened by the news of Cameron’s death.
“Cameron was a popular young man who fully participated in all areas of school life.
“He was a keen sportsman with a special love of rugby in which he represented the school and Bolton Rugby Club where he was known for his speed and power, earning the nickname of the “Exocet”. Cameron will be deeply missed.”
In tribute to Cameron there was a poignant pre-match minute’s silence during this afternoon’s school rugby match.
The school is supporting his friends following Cameron’s death.
Cameron was planning on studying Sports Management or Sports Coaching after completing his A-levels.
Bolton Rugby Club paid its tribute to its team member.

Cameron’s devastated parents paid their own personal tribute on social media to their son.
His father Marcus posted: “Live every moment until your last.
