Coronation Street actress, Helen Flanagan, has told fans that her life isn’t as "together" as it seems by sharing a glimpse into the reality of "mum life".

The Bolton born actress has shared candid pictures to her one million Instagram followers after receiving a message from a mum.

In the snap, Helen is bare-faced, hair up and sporting a baggy top; she reassured fans that she is “just trying her best” and doesn’t always lead a picture-perfect lifestyle.

I just try my best like all mums.

“I have my days I feel more together and days I don’t.

“Don’t sweat the small stuff and have fun along with the chaos of kids.”

In another post, Helen looks glamorous in a black mini dress while on holiday in Dubai.

In the picture caption, Helen said: “This is when I put my Spanx on and felt glam.

“The majority of the time I have no makeup and a bun head. I wish I could find the energy [to dress up more] day-to-day.

“Pre-kids I would always have my face on.”

Helen is often candid and open about her life, which she shares with fiancé and Preston North End winger, Scott Sinclair, as well as their three children, Matilda, Delilah and Charlie.

She recently opened up about her breastfeeding journey and said she is "emotional" about this coming to an end.

She said: “One year of feeding you my precious baby [Charlie].

“I’m not too sure when our feeding journey will come to an end... I am thinking I will keep nursing through the summer as I think it’s a comfort to him with his teething.

“I love breastfeeding as I like the bonding and I like that it’s just something that I can do and that my baby needs just me.

“He’s likely my last baby and I want to soak this all up and I feel quite emotional about stopping.

“Though I do miss being able to have more time on my own with Scott, being on my own, being able to take the girls for one and one trips on their own and I would say having perky boobs... but that’s a long time gone now.”
