Bolton At Home is offering advice on how to apply for the Homes for Ukraine scheme as one of their tenants.
The first phase of the government scheme has opened and helps Ukrainian nationals or residents with a personal connection to the UK.
If people want to support someone but do not know anyone leaving Ukraine, they can record their interest in becoming a sponsor as the scheme rolls-out to help more people escaping danger.
A spokesman for Bolton At Home said: "It may be possible within the terms of your tenancy agreement, but please speak with us first- before applying for the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
"If it’s something you’re considering, we’d look to support you and grant permission where it’s possible and reasonable to do so.
"Please phone us on 01204 328000 to discuss. Thank you."
As a sponsor under this scheme, people would:
-need to be able to provide a home for at least six months;
-receive a monthly payment from the government of £350, tax free and with no benefit or tax implications.
And some checks would be carried out to satisfy all involved.
