THE Over Hulton community are calling for volunteers to help "Keep Britain Tidy" this April.
Residents will be "taking to the streets" in a bid to clean their streets, roads, or avenues in the area.
The initiative was inspired by the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, which aims to permanently change the behaviour of people littering, by offering solutions and highlighting it.
The group are in need of volunteers, who can spare an hour over the weekend of Saturday April 9 and Sunday 10, to help pick up any litter on their section of the street or road they live on.
Over Hulton will be split into sections of roads, streets, and cul-de-sacs, and will involve a minimum of about 40 people, but possibly more.
There is no need to worry about equipment because this will be provided.
