Tripadvisor has released its list of top trending destinations in the UK, and Manchester has made the list.
The Spring Travel Index uses a combination of search and sentiment data to reveal the top destinations this spring.
Search data from Tripadvisor also shows the most popular dates for Brits this spring are between March 11 and 31.
Domestic travel is still the preferred option for travelling, with more than three-quarters of people saying they will travel between March and May in the UK.
Based on year over year search growth, Manchester was sixth in the fastest-growing domestic destinations.
What to do in Manchester
Afflecks is an iconic indoor market in Manchester and first opened in the early 80s.
There are dozens of independent stalls, small shops and boutiques with plenty to buy from fancy dress, artwork and jewellery.
