A YOUTH football group are overjoyed after receiving not only new football kits but a mini bus to get to games.

Be The Change, a youth group based in Bolton and run by Daniel Sukula, has had the new kits and mini bus donated by new sponsor, Re-Rates UK.

The new away kits funded by head of Re-Rates UK, Jack Abadi, are to compliment the home kits sponsored by Alex Matvienko at the Elite Boxing Gym.

Along with the kits, Jack has also provided the U16 team with a mini bus to help transport the boys to their away games.

Daniel said: "We have been looking for sponsors for our away kit for quite a while, then Jack Abadi decided to not only sponsor our away kit but also for team tracksuits and a minibus.

"This support will benefit many local young people from disadvantaged backgrounds especially those who are hard to reach.

"With our own minibus it will help us to extend our reach in Bolton and organise more activities and trips for the young people.

"We are very grateful for the support especially at this moment the project is rapidly growing and there is an increased demand for our services."

The players are also enjoying the new away kit.

Niko Galary said: "As a football player I believe if you feel good, you play good and in this new kit I feel amazing.

"As a team we often overcome struggles and obstacles in order to make sure that we can play our football every week, and although we have our ups and downs, this kit shows there’s a lot more good things coming our way."

Many grassroots football teams have suffered since the start of the pandemic, something which Jack at Re-Rates UK recognised and wanted his local youth teams to continue.

He said: "Grassroots football is a pivotal part of any young person’s life.

"During the beginning of the covid pandemic grassroots football was brought to an immediate shut down due to the restrictions.

"Even after it was brought back a lot of clubs had to fold due to the lack of funding and not being able to pay for pitches kits and equipment due to sponsors pulling out because of the pandemic.

"This is one of the main reasons I have decided to sponsor the club."
