A car was seized by officers by Bolton, following an earlier chase.

Police reported that the car had been sighted and pursed by divisional patrols before being abandoned in Burford Drive.

The car was then seized and police are following up with the owner.

A GMP spokesperson said: "This golf was pursued earlier by divisional patrols in Bolton.

"Sighted again by #XT18 it would make off through a park before being located by #ME08 abandoned on Burford Drive.

"The car was seized and enquiries are ongoing with the keeper."

This comes after a similar incident involving a BMW 123 abandoned on Hibbert Street containing cocaine after exceeding the speed limit.
