A CHILDREN'S entertainment business has found a new home in Ainsworth.

After struggling during the pandemic, Mark Daniels Production has moved its base of operations for children’s shows to Ainsworth Methodist Church.

Previously Mark rented a space for performances in Bolton Little Theatre, but struggled to afford it.

After Cllr Jo Lancaster recommended Ainsworth Methodist Church to Mark as a performance space, he put on his first show, Alice in Wonderland, which quickly sold out earlier this month.

Mark said: “I’m grateful to Jo for her help, support and friendship, she has helped me and my business thrive in a difficult time.

“It’s nice to have someone who’s respected locally help me like this and Ainsworth Methodist Church will be ideal for me going forward.

“Children’s entertainment is all I’ve ever wanted to do.”

Ms Lancaster said: “Like many other businesses Mark Daniel’s Production suffered during the pandemic and many of his shows were cancelled.”

“But, since then the Ainsworth community have been delighted to see Alice in Wonderland be a great success.”

Following the sell-out success of Alice in Wonderland, tickets are now on sale for Mark’s production of Red Riding Hood in February 2023.
