British singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé has shared details of an extensive UK and European tour for later this year, with two of her stops being in Manchester.

Her tour includes full-band performances and also a number of intimate acoustic piano shows in May 2022.

This will coincide with her forthcoming album Let’s Say For Instance being released on Friday, May 6.

As told to Variety in an exclusive interview, Emeli said: "I’m so proud of this album and can’t wait to release it.

"I’ve felt free to express myself more naturally both lyrically and musically in this album and my wish is that it will be an uplifting experience for each listener and that they will get to know me on a much deeper level."

Her stops in Manchester will take place at the O2 Ritz on Friday, May 20 which will be a full band show, and Stoller Hall on Sunday, May 29 which will be a solo piano show.

If you want to get tickets for either Manchester shows then they are available to order on pre-sale right now through Ticketmaster.

This O2 pre-sale will take place until 9am on Friday, February 18 as tickets will go on general sale at 10am on the same day.
