LEAD singer of 80s boy band Brother Beyond will be performing in Little Lever later this month.

The band, made famous by the 1980s hit factor Stock, Aitken and Waterman, was best known for its single 'The Harder I Try'.

On February 26, Nathan Moore will be taking to the stage at Henighans Bar and Grill.

He will singing from 9.30pm.

After the band split up Nathan went on to sing with another boy band, called Worlds Apart, successful in France in the mid-90s, and worked as a manager to such acts as Jessica Garlick.

Nick Howcroft, who owns Henighans, said: "I know Nathan, he lives in Lancashire.

"We are now bringing gigs back after Covid. Nathan is the nicest person you could meet."

He was also a contestant on ITV's Hit Me Baby One More Time, and part of Lisa Scott-Lee's Totally Scott-Lee programme set up on MTV.

Entry to the gig is free.
