Bolton Parkrun celebrated its 11th birthday this weekend as 237 runners made it along for the event.
The 5k run, organised entirely volunteers, went ahead for the 484th time in Leverhulme Park on Saturday morning.
To mark the occasion there was cake from Bellas Bakes and funds were raised for Backup Charity which helps young people in the town and there was a foodbank collection for Urban Outreach.
Three runners who took part in the event at the weekend had been there on the very first time the run went ahead in 2011.
They included Amy Ardill, Katherine Baines and Tom Stretton.
Rowan Ardill was the run director for both events.
Representatives from 28 running clubs took part and the fastest runner crossed the finish line in 18 minutes.
Since the event began a total of 12,610 runners have turned up on a Saturday morning and completed the race.
