POLICE have recovered a stolen car and seized another on cloned plates during a night's crackdown on road crime.
Both of the cars were found by officers from Greater Manchester Police's Transport Unit in Farnworth, the first of which was a stolen Fiat 500, while the second was a Fiesta travelling with no insurance on cloned plates.
Police reported at around 11.00pm that the car had been found.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers from XMC Relief GMP Transport Unit have this evening recovered this stolen Fiat 500 in Farnworth."

Images from the scene show the car boxed in by a police vehicle on a residential road in Farnworth.
Officer will now attempt to track down the car's rightful owners and to return it to them.
The second car was a Fiesta, also spotted in Farnworth was stopped after a pursuit by police through the town.
On stopping the car, they found that it was travelling on cloned plates and had been driven with no insurance.

The driver will now be dealt with according to police.
The spokesperson said: "C Relief XM from GMP Transport Unit in Farnworth have spotted, pursued and seized this Fiesta, on cloned plates with no insurance.
"The driver will be notified and processed accordingly."
