A SWEET toothed cafe has announced a new competition to give would-be chocolatiers the chance to win a prize by create their very own chocolate bar.
The Chocolate Cafe, based on Bolton Street in Ramsbottom has already worked hard to entice customers back after the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Fortunately, recently joined head chef and former Bake Off: The Professionals contestant Ian McDonald has helped lead the way and now the owners hopes that customers can add their very own ideas to the Ramsbottom chef's repertoire.
Marketing manager Kate Lockett said: "We are currently running our do us a flavour competition on our socials where we are giving the chance for the public to create their very own chocolate bar creation.
"We will pick a winning flavour and that bar will go into production, stocked on our shelves and available online.
"Winners will receive 50 bars of their flavour delivered to their door plus their name featured on the packaging."
Established over ten years ago, the Chocolate Cafe combines an upstairs cafe with a chocolate shop and mini chocolate factory where customers can watch Mr McDonald and his team work at creating their range of award-winning chocolate.
Mr McDonald joined back in April 2021 after having made his name representing Ramsbottom restaurant, The Lounge, with fellow chef Andrew Robinson on Bake Off: The Professionals.
Joining the cafe coincided with the easing of lockdown restrictions at the time and helped to relaunch the Chocolate Cafe on the local dining stage.
Now, the cafe hopes that customers will prove to be just as innovative when it comes to designing their own chocolate treats.
To enter, would-be chocolatiers can go to the cafe's Facebook and Instagram pages and comment on the relevant posts with their ideas.
The competition is open until Monday January 31 with the winner set to be announced shortly afterwards.
