THREE men from Bolton have been charged with burglary after an attempt steal to diggers and plant machinery was foiled yesterday.
Police officers were called to the scene at Trafford Park just after 2.30pm on Monday after reports from a security company monitoring CCTV that a group of men were attempting to steal mini diggers and plant equipment.
Following a search with police dogs and the National Police Air Service, four men were arrested on suspicion of burglary with all the stolen plant machinery was recovered.
Dean Goodwin, 32 of Macdonald Avenue, Sean Hardman, 27 of Parkfield Avenue, and Arly Tudge 22 also of Macdonald Avenue, Bolton have now all been charged with burglary other than a dwelling with intent to steal.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today
The fourth man has been bailed pending further enquires.
