These are the faces of people who were jailed last month

MARK GOODRAM and JON-ROSS WATSON thought all their Christmases had come at once when they hit the £4 million lottery jackpot after buying a scratch card on a trip to go begging in London. But they used stolen debit card details to make the purchase and Camelot refused to pay out. Goodram, aged 38 and Watson, 34, were each jailed for 18 months after admitting fraud.

JAMES RHODES was jailed for four years after he committed a string of offences. The 21-year-old drug dealer threatened a group of men with an imitation firearm and was caught driving dangerously in a stolen car.

JONATHAN PROUDMAN subjected his partner to assaults, threats and abuse throughout their six-month relationship and escaped from a police van after he was arrested. Proudman, aged 35, was sentenced to 39 months in prison.

The Bolton News: James CunliffeJames Cunliffe

JAMES CUNLIFFE tried to cut off his love rival's penis in a frenzied attack. Cunliffe, aged 33, stabbed him repeatedly with a kitchen knife as he lay cowering on a sofa. He was jailed for 20 years after a jury found him guilty of attempted murder.

JAKE MULDOON, DECLAN PRESCOTT, NATHAN RUTTER, RHYS JONES and JAMIE ASHCROFT were part of a large drugs conspiracy. They flooded the streets of Leigh and Atherton with more that £750,000 worth of cocaine and heroin. Muldoon, aged 23, was the ring leader of the gang with the others operating below him. Prior to the sentencing for the conspiracy Muldoon was also jailed for nine years after stabbing Prescott, aged 24, in the head when he lost £5,000 of drugs. For the drugs conspiracy Muldoon was given an additional six years and six months in jail and Prescott was jailed for six years and nine months. Rutter, aged 21, was sent to prison for five years, Ashcroft, aged 21, for six years and 22-year-old Rhys Jones for three years and six months.
