Give us some history about the pub:
It was opened in 2016 by rugby league legend Steve Simms and his wife Anne.
We like to see ourselves as different as we aim to live up to our name of Great Ale by providing quality and premium ales, lagers and ciders that are not readily available in supermarkets. We are beginning to focus more on using local independent suppliers such as Northern Monkey, Blackedge, Rivington and Deeply Vale

Popular drinks are real ales, Dortmunder Union - a premium German pilsner, and cocktails such as the Pornstar Martini and Espresso Martini along with our constantly changing cocktails of the week
