A THIRD man has been accused of attempted murder over a double stabbing in Bolton last weekend

Detectives are still probing the death of Tyrone Williamson in Battenberg Road, off Chorley Old Road, on Saturday, December 11.

An initial report of a stabbing there occurred just after 6pm, in which 25-year-old Tyrone suffered fatal injuries.

This was followed by a second incident, around two hours later, in Lincoln Road, where a 41-year-old was said by police to have also been stabbed.

A third man has now been charged in connection with the second incident.

Nathan Carney-Williamson, 29, of Battenberg Road, Bolton has been charged with attempt murder.

He appeared before Wigan magistrates yesterday and has been remanded pending a crown court appearance.

Jason Wilding, 27, of Withington Road, Whalley Range, and Adam Disa Green, 21, of no fixed address, have both previously been charged with attempted murder.

The 41-year-old is reported by police to still be in hospital and in a critical condition. He has been arrested previously on suspicion of murder.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Detectives are continuing to piece together the events that happened that evening and are still keen to hear from anyone who may have any information.
