THREE PEOPLE have been arrested after a man was hit by a car in the early hours of this morning during a street argument.
Police were called to the scene on Bolton Street Ramsbottom at around 1.25am on Saturday morning were they found that a 25-year-old man had been seriously injured.
Their enquiries have established that just before the collision, the 25-year-old victim was involved in an altercation in the street with three other men resulting in a passing car, a blue Ford Fiesta, crashing into the victim causing him serious injuries.
Three men, two aged 25 and a 28-year-old, were all arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and a 28-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving offences and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
All remain in custody for questioning.
