SEVERAL young people were interviewed by police after officers were deployed to Bolton Interchange on Friday in response to recent reports of anti-social behaviour.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police Transport Unit were sent to the transport hub over the course of Friday afternoon and evening following a number of recent cases of criminality, anti-social behaviour and abuse of passengers and staff.
They were working in partnership with Greater Manchester Travel Safe.
A police spokesperson said: "Staff and commuters should not subjected to abuse whilst working or passing through the interchange by a minority of youths.
"A number of youths have been formally interviewed by us recently in response to ongoing investigations, and more will follow as we identify further perpetrators.
"Parents and guardians, do you know where your children are going when they say they're going out, who with and what they're doing?
"Ultimately they are your responsibility."
