Residents are invited to attend this year’s Mayor of Bolton Annual Christmas Fair.
The event, hosted by Cllr Linda Thomas, will take place in The Albert Halls from 10am to 2pm this Saturday.
There will be a wide variety of stalls offering crafts and gifts, as well as refreshments and tabletop games.
The stalls, which will be run by charities and community groups, offer people a great opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts while supporting good causes.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Kearsley Youth Brass Band, who will be playing a number of festive favourites.
There will also be a tombola to raise money for the Mayor’s charities: Fortalice, BACKUP Northwest, Urban Outreach, Halliwell Befriending Services and The Octagon Theatre.
The Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Thomas said: "As Mayor, the Christmas Fair is an opportunity to give something back to all the incredible charities who do so much to support Bolton.
"These amazing charities have supported our communities over the last 12 months, and it is now our turn to support them and raise some much-needed funds.
"This is a lovely, family event with lots to see and do and I look forward to meeting everyone who attends on the day."
Admission for adults is 50p and kids go free.
