HUNDREDS of Santas are set to ascend the slopes of Rivington Pike this weekend for a popular fundraiser.
Neil Hailwood has organised Jingle All The Way events for Derian House children’s hospice since 2012.
He created the charity hike following the death of a friend's son, who had endured a brave battle with cancer.
The appeal has collected more than £100,000 for the hospice, which covers the Bolton and Central Lancashire areas, since its inception.
Neil said: “The aim is that we will have a fun filled day, with lots of ho ho hos.”
Lockdown saw sponsored games and an online music festival replace the trek.
But the 15-mile course, from Chorley to the Pike, is back, with a Just Giving page for donations.
